About Sarah

Sarah Hall founded Effective Life in 2006. During preceding years her clinical practice became dominated by clients presenting stress and stress related conditions. All too often the cause of stress originated at work or was exacerbated by it. The reality of the situation became clear. More and more business men and women were in need of help and support.

Sarah began her career in the nursing profession and worked in this field for a number of years. This inspired and informed her vocation as a carer. She went on to gain an Honours Degree in Psychology and Sociology and, later, a Masters Degree in which she researched the comparative effectiveness of CBT and Hypnotherapy. Sarah specialised in Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and NLP acquiring qualifications recognised by the National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists (NRHP) and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). She spent a number of years working for one of the worldís leading complementary therapists in his London clinic, was personally trained by him and acquired unique and specialised skills.

Sarah has been working as a therapist for approximately ten years and has spent as many years training. As such she not only knows the type of approaches that are effective but also the type of practitioner who will maximise this effectiveness. Sarah works in two thriving clinics with approximately forty practitioners. The core of her team is made up of colleagues with whom she has worked closely for a number of years. Between them they have treated countless business men and women suffering from stress and a wide variety of other conditions.
